Hi! I’m Heather Elder, a designer, illustrator, hand-letterer, nature-lover, and health-devotee from Seattle, WA and Atlanta, GA. I specialize in brand design, illustration and handmade signs, working with a range of clients, from start-up businesses to change-making organizations as well as restaurants and wellness products.

Beauty Beyond Surface
Mathematicians often describe notably pleasing proofs as elegant or beautiful. In many spiritual traditions, beauty is seen as pointing to universal truths beyond what can be expressed with words. And when we are immersed in the grandeur of nature, say of a giant canyon, we are arrested by the sublime experience of its ineffable and overwhelming beauty. These are the deep powers I seek to harness in my work—always under the direction of the story needing to be told and expressed in a way that connects it with its audience. I seek to serve as a conduit.
